STUDIO D'ARTISAN & SA. Was founded in 1979 by a designer who studied design in France. He succeeded to reproduce the vintage jeans and to take over the history of “real Jeans” with old loom found in Okayama. At that time, the value of selvedge denim had disappeared because of “mass production”.
