Ankle Hang Sit Ups is a great conditioning drill for students who can hang from their ankles. This video shows it from a dancer wrap ankle hang, which requires strong flexed feet, but different variations of ankle hangs will work as well. We like using the dancer wrap version because the wrap keeps us symmetrical unlike some of the other ankle hang variations. This drill works the full body but especially the abdominals and compression. It can be worked into a warm up or into a conditioning set, depending on the goals and the student.
