(A port catheter - called a "port" for short - is a permanent access from the outside into a vein. It is intended to help cancer patients who often receive medication directly into the bloodstream.)
A car seat belt that runs directly over a port is very uncomfortable. Those affected report strong pressure, friction and skin irritation.
