ABOUT: I designed this pattern after seeing a knit blanket from target. It was covered with cute daisy flowers over a salmon-pink colored background, but what I loved the most about it was the texture! I've always loved the idea of mixing different yarn textures and sizes together to create something fun, and this blanket sparked that creativity for me! After designing the flowers, I realized how similar they are to those little white strawberry flowers, so that's where this pattern name is coming from. I used a simple acrylic yarn for the background so that the texture of the flowers would stand out more, and I decided to go with a fluffier texture for the petals, because that's what caught my eye the most about the original blanket. Then I used a velvety texture yarn for the center of each flower. Overall, I am so happy with how this blanket turned out and I hope you enjoy making it too!
