I got a job to do a medal for a woman who really, really likes her boyfriend… who apparently lifts weights. I hope it meets with their approval! I wanted to post it here because it is shiny, but also to note that I used 100 grit, then 400 grit, then STRAIGHT to the buffing wheel and got a really nice finish in this brass. In the past, I would go two more steps with sand paper… but the buffing wheel and red rouge seemed sufficiently capable of buffing out 400 grit sanding.
