Scarce WWII Model 1917 U.S Shotgun Shell Pouch with ShellsThis is a nice example of a Model 1917 shotgun shell pouch. The pouch is made of canvas and has the original adjustable shoulder sling. The manufacturers name, "PROGRESSIVE" is stamped on the inside of the flap over the date "1918". The flap is secured by a snap fastener. The 12 gauge shells were held in 32 internal web loops. In the pouch are 32 spent brass Winchester 12 gauge shells head stamped "WINCHESTER / No12". This pouch is not easily found and therefore is very desirable and sought after.
