Smart Stick can help detect obstacles above knee level and more importantly help navigate around large building. The Smart Stick also has an obstacle detection unit, a voice-cont roller unit & a sensory feedback unit. If the cross button is pressed, it will alert that medical emergency to the local guardian and to the hospital (hospital in smart cities are working on alert type medical emergency)with the live location as well. If the circle button ( O ) is pressed, it will alert the local guardian where the threat is of other type and not about medical. Call feature: Through this blind person can communicate to the predefined phone numbers through the keypad available in the stick. This is similar to the Speed dial assigned in earlier keypad mobile phone. Locating the Stick:(optional design) This is to find the stick when kept at a distance from the blind stick.
