5 Pounds of Stainless Steel Media Chips for use in wet tumblers to clean brass and other metals.
One pound is equal to a heaping 1/3 cup. You will receive 5 lbs.
These chips measure approximately 1.43mm x 3.45mm.
This polishing media is great for cleaning small metal machinery parts, nuts & screws, and for cleaning empty brass bullet casings
This media is designed to work with rotary tumblers with water and cleaning solution. It is not designed to be used in vibratory tumblers.
It's best to use stainless steel chips in wet tumblers because they don't have to be replaced, washed, or dried after use.
You may find an occasional carbon steel chip or two. This occurs with the change over of machinery. We try to remove all we find. The carbon steel chips will eventually dissolve with repeated use. Just rinse the chips and put them back into your wet tumbler. There's no need to dry the chips between uses.
These chips are attacted to a magnet and pick up easily with a magnet.
We have used this cleaning media exclusively to clean our bullet casings. It's unique football-shape prevents it from getting stuck in the primer pockets.
