The Saturday Market has returned to Cordova with renewed interest and energy this year. The Saturday Market was started by Christa Hoover and her stepdaughter Rachel Hoover Blackwelder in 2015 to sell various fermented foods they had been making such as kombucha and kimchis. They were inspired by the concept of open-air farmers markets elsewhere
